The identicom i350 Bluetooth Identicom is a new addition to the Peoplesafe service. The device capitalises on Bluetooth connection technology, meaning it is paired with users mobile phones, thus eliminating the need for a SIM card in the actual device. Instead the device will transmit data via the SIM card in the users own mobile phone to and from the monitoring station. The mobile phone is needed to be paired with the device at all times in order for the device to work properly.
By eliminating the need of a built in SIM card also makes the device a cheaper option for the customer as it is cheaper than our other devices within the Peoplesafe range.
The device still works in exactly the same way as the i750 GSM identicom, allowing users to check in and out of meetings via the amber alert function, and also trigger a red alert using the red alert function, when faced in a situation of verbal / physical abuse.
GSM technology allows the device to be located within the nearest 150 yards in instances of amber and red alerts, and the microphone technology allows the 24/7 monitoring station to listen in to red alerts in live time, and generate responses in the best interest of the users.
