Peoplesafe on your PDA/Blackberry
By adding Peoplesafe Software to your compatible device a range of Lone Worker Safety features will become immediately available.
The Peoplesafe service is available to be added to your Blackberry/PDA/Smartphone. All these devices use a variety of operating software platforms which are fully compatible.
Peoplesafe provides users of these phones a set of valuable functions to assist them during their lone working activities.
AMBER Number - In advance of a meeting where the user will be lone working they will be able to call into the 'Peoplesafe Server' where they will be invited to use a pin to verify themselves. Once verification is given the user will record a message giving precise location, activity and timing. At the end of the message the user will be invitied to enter a 4-digit time on the 24 hour clock equating to the end of their appointment.
RED Number - If at any time the user feels suspicious or concerned for their safety, they can, if it is safe to do so, press the speed dial number on their phone which will connect to our 24/7 manned 'red alert' line. An operator will be able to listen in to the sounds around the phone and enter into a 2 way call if required. The operator will provide any support required by that user.

KEYGUARD BYPASS - the software will ensure that the designated red alert button will operate inspite of any general keyguard in place on the device. This simplifies the time and effort to start a red alert.
LOCATION by GPS - all the devices listed in this section are now available with GPS capability. Using the Peoplesafe software the device will transmit its location on GPS when a red or amber alert starts. This will assist in the event that the user requires aid from a 3rd party.
