Lone Worker Appreciation

This is the basic level of information that each lone worker needs to know. For this reason each Peoplesafe user will be able to participate in this training session free of charge. There is a legal responsibility for employers to address the issue of violence in the workplace and other health and safety issues, outlined in The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 (updated 1999). Peoplesafe are helping organisations become proactive in providing training for their lone workers.

Duration: This will be part of the training session that is provided when you purchase devices from Peoplesafe. Approximate duration will be 2 hours

Training method: One of our experienced trainers will lead a discussion about the risks to lone workers and what they can do to minimise this risk

Course Objectives

  • To raise awareness of the risks to lone workers
  • State the meaning of what a lone workers is
  • Understand why lone workers should be protected and their individual needs
  • Training on Peoplesafe device

  • Introduction to Peoplesafe
  • Live device demonstration
  • Using amber and red alerts
  • Explanation of the tracking procedure
  • What is a lone worker and managing the risks
