Commenting, Martin Rodgers, Director of Rocksure Systems said:  "Since using Peoplesafe, Taylor Wimpey’s lone staff have reported feeling much safer when working alone. Peoplesafe has now become the lone worker technology of choice by the housebuilding industry to help prevent their staff suffering verbal and physical abuse. "

Peoplesafe is designed to encompass every aspect of a company’s duty of care to its employees when working alone. The service combines the six-core elements that are essential for a credible and complete lone worker solution, namely the Peoplesafe unit, operator response, tracking, training, configuration with the most appropriate mobile network and ongoing support.

With Peoplesafe workers can discretely raise an alarm, be located and receive assistance at the touch of a button. Motion sensors can detect if the user has fallen or become incapacitated and tracking systems can locate the worker instantly. A hidden microphone allows any threatening situation to be closely monitored and recorded allowing evidence to be collected to potentially aid a prosecution of the offenders.
